The Math & The Money

We want you to help us by Sponsoring one of our five Apprentices. We hope to prove to you that sponsoring an Apprentice will be more cost effective and generate better results than hiring a traditional employee.  In an effort to showcase this, a breakdown of traditional costs for hiring a new employee compared to an Apprentice have been listed below.

The Cost of a Traditional Employee: Internet Marketer

Raw Average Salary = $58.300 as per Glassdoor.com. The actual cost of a traditional employee for you can be as high as $87,450, when you factor in: paid time off, sick leave, health and dental benefits and other overhead expenses (utilities, office space, office computers and equipment, etc). If you are not able to pay that level of salary, you can expect to get sub-par performance and results, as only less experienced and successful candidates will apply.  An average salary of $87,450 equates to a monthly pay of $7,288, weekly pay of $1,682, and an hourly wage of $42.04. When we break this down to a restricted ‘four hours’ a day – ‘five days’ a week, for a total of  20 hours of work each week, we get an average of  $42/ hr  and a total of $840.8 weekly.

The Cost of a Sponsoring an Apprentice:

Our sponsorships are a flat fee of $2,000 a month for 14 months.  An hourly rate of $23 equates to a weekly pay of $460, monthly pay of $1,993, and an annual salary of $23,920.  Using the numbers above, an apprentice ends up costing almost $63,500 a year less!

Traditional vs. Apprentice Comparisons and Assumptions:

We grant that there are a lot of variables to the above math and many assumptions made, (like your budget, number of hours, overhead expenses, etc,). However you change the rates and individual numbers, the ratios generally remain the same.

Not only are you able to leverage the experience and insight from a team focused on extreme business development but you will also have unprecedented insight into what work is being done and when. (The entire year is documented on film!)  In addition, factor into account days when an employee is late or underperforming – or as most of us have encountered – an employee  doing as little as possible to keep just from being fired.   

All of these traditional employee concerns are negated by use of our program. In addition, your Apprentice will have the tools, resources and guidance to be able to develop any skillset needed for your company.  Some of these are included but, not limited to the following:

  • Website Development – Creative design, UX design, HTML, CSS, Information Architecture planning, WordPress development and maintenance, plugin developement and maintenance, ecommerce setup and optimization, technical search optimization and lead generation and more. 
  • Social Media Marketing – Brand awareness, niche community engagement building, public outreach, persona research and development, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Pinterest, etc. expertise and more. 
  • Content Development – Content planning, outlining, research and development, editing, authoring, co-authoring, citation, multi-source collaboration, storytelling, white-papers, email newsletters and more. 
  • Search Engine Optimization (SEO)  – Keyword research, keyword scoring, keyword implementation, Google compliance, webmaster integration, rank tracking, link building, technical optimization, speed optimization, IA optimization, multi-site management, online presence optimization, and more. 
  • Pay Per Click (PPC) Management – Ad copy, A/B testing, landing page development, cost analysis, bid compliance, conversion rate optimization, multi-platform testing, PPC keyword research, PPC keyword integration, and more. 
  • Affiliate Management – Affiliate program creation, optimization, compliance monitoring, fraud reduction, time sensitive campaigning, affiliate outreach and more. 
  • Computer Software Skills – Full Adobe Suite (Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Illustrator, Muse, Premier Pro, InDesign, Spark, Audition, After Effects),, WordPress, Google Docs, MS Office Suite, SEO Software and more.

Your Return on Investment (what you get summary)

Simply put, by Sponsoring an Apprentice you get the combined experience of a Master Internet Marketer,  five multi-millionaire Mentors, and five Apprentice Marketers all leveraged to be an asset to your company.  We will advise you on opportunities for growth and internet success while at the same time following the needs of your company and follow your direction in whatever work or development is needed.

Your Apprentice will dedicate 20 hours a week to working on your behalf, as YOU direct – or in anticipation of your needs, depending on the working relationship you are most comfortable with.

We take our commitments seriously. As a sponsor, we will ensure that our obligations to you come first and above all other program priorities.  Our sponsors are the cornerstone to our success.

  • Unlimited consultations on any internet marketing or website development topic
  • Guaranteed 24 hour minimum response time
  • Weekly reports and progress updates
  • Monthly reports and progress updates

Your Obligation To Us

Our program cannot success without reliable and invested Sponsors.

  • Minimum monthly payment of $2,000
  • Payments must be made on the 1st of the month
  • 14 months minimum contract

The Phoenix Initiative is a life rehabilitation program in which five individuals  attempt to create a ‘better life’ by participating in one of the world’s toughest apprenticeship programs.

Our primary objective is to demonstrate that anyone, regardless of their circumstances and personal history,  can make massive changes in their lives and recover from extreme difficulties or setbacks.
